Charmed, I’m Sure.
Who doesn't love treasure? Especially treasure that you can wear! This workshop is an opportunity to create your own charm necklace with me, a charm and trinket enthusiast (and quite frankly, expert.) Whether you prefer a personalised talisman loaded with symbolism or a playful statement piece for that added dose of dopamine, I've got you covered.
With my extensive collection of 1000s of charms, beads, and pendants from around the globe, the possibilities are endless. Learn about the history and symbolism of charms and the spiritual meanings of gemstones while planning and making your dream necklace. I will run through plenty of tips for design ideas or teach the basics and let you experiment. But that's not all! I'll also provide metal stamps, so you can hammer initials, words, or numbers into your charms, adding an extra personal touch.
Rest assured, the workshop price includes all the materials you'll need, from beads to findings, and up to $40 worth of charms and specialty beads. And if you're craving even more charms, simply pay the additional cost on the day. No surprises, just treasure-filled fun!
You will also take home a handy guide booklet with tips and tricks so you can continue your new hobby at home!
Workshops run at two venues - Perth CBD and Fremantle. This workshop is suitable for ages 15 and up but under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

FAQS
How does it work?
You will have access to my extensive collection of beads and charms that I have sourced from all over the world over the last 20 years.
Your workshop fee covers beads, findings, and up to $40 worth of charms and specialty beads (Charms range in price between $2 and $40). If you want extra charms, simply pay the extra on the day. I’ve mocked up a few examples below so you can get the gist but rest assured, I have 100s of charms to choose from!
What if I have an allergy to a particular type of metal?
No problems! Just let me know and we can discuss options!
Can I BYO Charms?
Absolutely! If you have some special charms or beads, bring them along and we can incorporate them into your design!
What are the venues like?
Fremantle: The beautiful and generous Kate of Kate and Abel has offered to host us in her beautiful store right in the heart of Freo. This is great because it means if you want to do some sneaky private shopping you can kill two birds with one stone!
Perth: Get exclusive access to Members Club Lawson Flats including Luis’ Bar for after workshop drinks.
Can you do private workshops?
Yep! I often run small, private workshops which are perfect for birthdays, hen nights or for people who need a lower sensory environment. Get in contact with me and we can start planning :)
